Trump Signs Iran Ceasefire Agreement Electronically, Will Not Attend Ceremony
According to international media reports, President Trump stated that the agreement had been officially finalized, saying he personally signed the deal alongside Vice President Vance. A senior White House official also confirmed that both leaders signed the agreement a day earlier.
The full details of the agreement are expected to be released within the next 24 to 48 hours.
Another senior U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that the agreement aimed at ending the ongoing Middle East conflict was electronically signed by President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
During a media briefing, a senior U.S. administration official said Trump chose to personally sign the agreement to demonstrate his commitment and determination to ensure the successful completion of the peace process.
However, U.S. officials and analysts have raised questions regarding the absence of direct participation from Iran’s Supreme Leader or other top Iranian leadership, sparking debate over the legal and practical standing of the agreement.
