Israel Would Not Exist Without US Support, Trump Warns Iran Over Nuclear Weapons
Speaking during a meeting with Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, Trump warned that if Iran attempts to obtain nuclear weapons, the consequences would be severe.
Trump said the agreement with Iran must succeed, describing it as a strong barrier against nuclear weapons. He added that Russia should also reach a similar agreement.
According to Trump, the deal with Iran is fair and balanced, while clarifying that the United States is not making any investments in Iran. He also praised Qatar for its role in handling regional affairs, expressing satisfaction with Doha’s diplomatic efforts.
The U.S. president stressed that his top priority is ensuring Iran never acquires nuclear weapons.
Trump also revealed that he had told Israel he was unhappy with its strike on Beirut. He noted that he maintains good relations with Benjamin Netanyahu and suggested that responsibility for dealing with Hezbollah should be handed over to Syria.
He further remarked that Iran now has reasonable leadership and described the conflict in Lebanon as a relatively minor dispute.
