Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Doha to Offer Condolences on Former Qatari Amir's Passing
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, arrived in Doha on Monday (July 13) for a one-day visit to Qatar, where he is scheduled to meet Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and convey Pakistan's condolences over the passing of the country's former Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Prime Minister and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were received at Doha International Airport by Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani, along with senior Qatari officials.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will proceed to Lusail Palace for talks with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. He will express Pakistan's heartfelt condolences to the Amir of Qatar, the Qatari Royal Family, and the people of Qatar on the demise of the former Amir, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar are also accompanying the Prime Minister on the visit.
