Five Punjab Workers Killed in Gun Attack in Balochistan's Mashkail
Deputy Commissioner Washuk, Majid Sarparah, confirmed that all five victims were residents of different districts of Punjab and were working at local shops in the area.
According to police, the attackers stormed the shops and opened indiscriminate fire, killing all five workers on the spot before fleeing the scene.
Police and security forces rushed to the area, shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for legal formalities, and launched a search operation to trace the attackers. The bodies were later sent to the victims' hometowns after post-mortem examinations.
Deputy Commissioner Majid Sarparah said a comprehensive investigation has been initiated, while efforts are underway to identify and arrest those responsible. He added that security has been tightened across the area and evidence is being collected as part of the ongoing investigation.
