Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Departs for Qatar to Offer Condolences on Demise of Former Emir
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday (July 13) departed from Islamabad on a one-day official visit to Qatar to convey Pakistan's condolences over the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is accompanying the Prime Minister during the visit.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and extend heartfelt condolences to the Amir, the Qatari royal family, and the people of Qatar on the demise of the former Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The visit reflects the decades-long brotherly ties and deep-rooted friendship between the Qatari royal family, the people of Qatar, and the governments and peoples of Pakistan and Qatar.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, along with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, are also accompanying the Prime Minister on the visit.
