Operation Shaban 9 Militants Killed in Fresh Security Operations Across Balochistan
The joint operation, involving the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Balochistan Police, is continuing against militants in various parts of the province.
Security sources said the latest operations targeted militants hiding in remote mountainous regions and difficult terrain through coordinated ground and aerial operations.
According to the sources, the number of militants killed during Operation Shaban has now risen to 52.
They further stated that since July 5, a total of 88 militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations conducted across Balochistan.
Security officials reaffirmed that the operation will continue until militant networks are dismantled and the region is cleared of armed groups.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan, and Police for the successful operation. He commended the security forces for thwarting the plans of militants and stated that those involved in terrorism have no place in the country. He added that operations against militant groups would continue until lasting peace is restored.
