Scores of activists and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf staged a protest against rising inflation and price hike on Sunday (October 6).

The slogan-chanting protesters gathered outside Karachi Press Club. They held banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the sky-rocketing prices.

The protesters shouted slogans against the government.

The leaders, while addressing the crowd, said the ineptness of the government has brought a storm of inflation and price hike. The government is acting on a policy of perishing the poor, and that the Muslim League-N was exploiting the poor people.

They lashed out the government on raising the electricity and gas tariffs.

They warned the government that people might run out of patience if such conditions continued.
