Pakistan, Croatia agree to strengthen ties in trade, defence, connectivity
Pakistan and Croatia on Wednesday agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, defence, information technology and infrastructure, as Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
The two sides discussed labour mobility, visa facilitation, education, climate change and tourism, while also exchanging views on Pakistan-European Union cooperation and regional and global issues of mutual interest, according to a foreign ministry statement.
Recognising that connectivity is central to sustainable development and regional stability, the ministers explored potential collaboration between Pakistani and Croatian ports. Both sides agreed to hold Bilateral Political Consultations during the current year or early 2027.
The visit marks a significant step in strengthening relations between the two countries.
