Pakistan and Lebanon Agree to Further Strengthen Military Cooperation
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Rodolphe Haikal received a Guard of Honour upon his arrival at GHQ, presented by a smartly turned-out contingent of Pakistan’s armed forces.
During the meeting, both military leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, the evolving regional security environment, defense cooperation, and opportunities to strengthen bilateral military relations.
The discussions also focused on enhancing professional military exchanges, training cooperation, and institutional partnerships between the armed forces of both countries.
Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan highly values its longstanding and friendly relations with Lebanon and reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to expanding defense cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces.
General Rodolphe Haikal praised the professionalism and operational capabilities of Pakistan’s armed forces, acknowledging their contribution to regional stability and international peace missions.
According to ISPR, the visit reflects the shared commitment of both nations to further strengthen military cooperation and deepen defense ties.
