"Saudi investment wave eyes Pakistan’s ports, airports, and future economy!"
Welcoming the delegation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan seeks to transform its economic relations with Saudi Arabia into a mutually beneficial strategic economic partnership. He recalled Prince Mansour's previous visit to Pakistan in October 2025 and expressed hope that the current visit would pave the way for further agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across various sectors.
The Prime Minister also conveyed his best wishes for Saudi leadership, including Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Mohammed bin Salman.
Prince Mansour thanked the Prime Minister for the warm hospitality and emphasized the Saudi government's and business community’s keen interest in strengthening B2B relations with Pakistan. He highlighted Saudi interest in investing in multiple sectors, including ports, highways, airport outsourcing projects, energy, electricity distribution, and the IT sector.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Saudi investment in these sectors and suggested agriculture and food security as additional priority areas for mutually beneficial collaboration.
The Saudi delegation is expected to hold meetings with key public and private sector stakeholders to explore investment opportunities aligned with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's economic vision.
