Pakistan Rejects Claims of US Request for Airspace Access Against Iran
During the weekly press briefing, the spokesperson for the Foreign Office stated that Pakistan has neither received nor is aware of any such request from the United States regarding operations against Iran.
The spokesperson clearly said:“No request has been made to Pakistan for the use of its airspace for attacks against Iran.”
The clarification comes amid growing regional tensions and increasing speculation regarding possible military escalation in the Middle East.
Speaking on the Indus Waters Treaty, the Foreign Office spokesperson said Pakistan will not compromise on “even a single drop” of its water rights.
The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan will utilize all available legal avenues to protect its interests.
He added that the decision of the International Court of Arbitration clearly defines the limits of India’s control over the western rivers.
