Pakistan Meteorological Department Issues Forecast
According to the Met Department, a high-pressure system is expected to develop in the upper atmosphere on May 25 and may intensify further by May 26. Under its influence, moderate to severe heatwave conditions are likely to affect most districts of Sindh from May 25 to May 31.
Officials say temperatures could rise by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above normal levels.
