Punjab Announces Summer Vacations
The announcement was made through social media by the provincial education minister. The decision brings relief to thousands of students, parents, and teachers across Punjab.
Earlier, reports were circulating that the government was considering reducing summer vacations by 15 to 20 days to compensate for academic losses and extend the educational calendar. A day earlier, Rana Sikandar Hayat had stated that several proposals were under review and consultations with stakeholders were ongoing before reaching a final decision. However, the government has now officially approved a three-month summer break.
