Trump Warns Iran of Possible New Strikes, Accuses Tehran of Playing Games
In a statement shared on Truth Social, Trump said the United States would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons and vowed to secure Iran’s uranium capabilities.
Trump stated that Iran has used “delay, delay and delay” tactics for the past 47 years. He also criticized former US President Barack Obama, claiming that Iran gained significant advantages during Obama’s administration.
According to Trump, Obama adopted a soft approach toward Iran and provided Tehran with an opportunity to regain power and stability. He alleged that hundreds of billions of dollars, including $1.7 billion in cash, were sent to Iran during that period.
Trump further claimed that Iran considered the Obama administration an “easy target” led by a weak and inexperienced president. He also criticized former President Joe Biden, saying Iran had continued to exploit the United States for decades.
The president additionally accused Iran of killing thousands of unarmed protesters in recent years.
