13 Terrorist Killed as Pakistan Army Foils Infiltration Attempts Along Pak-Afghan Border
The ISPR reported that 13 Terrorirst, described as members of “Fitna al-Khawarij” allegedly backed by India, were killed during the operations.
In Mohmand District, security forces detected the movement of a group attempting to infiltrate across the border. The forces engaged effectively, killing 8 militants during the operation.
In a separate incident in North Waziristan, another infiltration attempt was thwarted after an intense exchange of fire, resulting in the killing of 5 Terrorists.
The ISPR urged the government of Afghanistan to ensure that its territory is not used for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to defending the country’s borders. Clearance operations are ongoing in the region to eliminate any remaining Terrorist presence. Under the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign, efforts to eradicate terrorism—especially that allegedly supported externally—will continue with full force.
