Islamabad on High Alert
According to official sources, a joint security framework involving police, Rangers, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and intelligence agencies has been activated. Under this coordinated plan, large-scale search and combing operations are underway to identify and eliminate potential threats.
In Islamabad, house-to-house search operations have been conducted in multiple areas, including Sabzi Mandi, Faizabad, Tarnol, Shahzad Town, and Karachi Company. Meanwhile, similar large-scale operations have also taken place in parts of the Rawalpindi region, including Taxila, Murree, Jhelum, and Attock.
Security has been placed on high alert around the Nur Khan Airbase and its surrounding areas. Additionally, strict monitoring is being enforced at all entry and exit points of the city, as well as key transit routes.
Officials have confirmed that additional security personnel have been deployed at sensitive installations and residential zones. These measures aim to ensure law and order remains fully under control during the arrival of international delegations.
