Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East. He commended Pakistan’s leadership role in supporting mediation efforts and promoting dialogue to de-escalate the situation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefed his Malaysian counterpart on Pakistan’s recent diplomatic engagements, including discussions with brotherly Gulf countries and Iranian leadership to help bring the United States and Iran to the negotiation table.
Praising Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, Anwar Ibrahim also shared details of his own conversations with global leaders, emphasizing the urgent need to end conflict in the Middle East. He reaffirmed Malaysia’s full support for Pakistan’s peace efforts in the region.
