Rain and Hailstorm Expected in Karachi
According to the forecast, a new system of western winds is entering the country’s western regions starting today, and its effects are expected to reach various parts of Sindh. On Wednesday, Karachi is likely to experience strong winds along with thunder and rain, with chances of hailstorms in some areas.
The advisory also includes several districts such as Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, and Shaheed Benazirabad, where gusty winds, thunderstorms, and rainfall are expected. Some locations may also experience hail.
Meanwhile, areas including Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Kashmore are forecast to receive intermittent rain and thunderstorms between March 18 and 19.
The weather department has also warned of possible lightning incidents during this period and advised citizens to take necessary precautions.
