Babar Azam Lookalike Becomes Overnight Sensation on Social Media
Muhammad Imran, a poor laborer from South Punjab, rose to fame after his friends casually uploaded his video on social media as a joke. The video quickly went viral, with users amazed by his striking resemblance to the Pakistani cricket star. As the saying goes, when destiny grants fame, no one can stop it — and the same happened with Muhammad Imran.
Imran had left his village in search of daily-wage work and was living a simple life. He shared that villagers often told him he looked like Babar Azam, but he never took their comments seriously. However, after coming to Lahore, he realized that his fellow villagers might have been right all along.
The young laborer also expressed his emotional attachment to the cricketer, saying he felt deeply upset when Babar Azam was dropped from the match against Sri Lanka. “My identity is linked with Babar bhai,” Imran said, adding that his unexpected fame has completely changed his life.
