Foreign Woman Gives Detailed Court Statement in Lahore Kidnapping and Alleged Sexual Assault Case
According to the statement, the foreign national, identified as Astrid Gabriel, alleged that she was subjected to severe physical abuse and sexual assault after arriving in Pakistan.
She told the magistrate that she first met the prime suspect, Raza Dar, at a cryptocurrency event in Singapore. According to her statement, Raza Dar claimed that he was the son of a Pakistani minister and displayed a WhatsApp profile picture with a former Prime Minister of Pakistan, which led her to trust him. Based on that trust, she and her business partner, Stephanie, agreed to work with him on a business venture.
The complainant further alleged that upon arriving in Pakistan, she and her companion were taken to an unknown house, where they were held captive for two nights. She claimed they were tied up, subjected to repeated abuse, and threatened with death if they did not hand over money and a computer.
According to her statement, the suspect repeatedly demanded access to a computer and funds, while those present allegedly threatened to dismember them with broken glass and kill them if their demands were not met.
The statement has become a significant development in the ongoing investigation. Authorities are continuing legal proceedings, and the allegations remain subject to investigation and determination by the courts. No judicial finding of guilt has been made at this stage.
