Internet Services Restored Across Pakistan After Submarine Cable Repair
According to PTA, the technical issue in the submarine cable had caused reduced internet speeds and connectivity disruptions for many users across the country over the past day. Following the completion of repair work, internet traffic is now flowing normally and services are being provided without interruption.
The authority stated that users in multiple cities had experienced slow browsing, disrupted connections, and difficulties accessing online platforms during the outage.
Internet monitoring platform Downdetector also recorded multiple reports of connectivity issues from several areas, indicating widespread service disruptions that affected daily online activities and digital services.
PTA confirmed that the fault has been fully resolved and internet connectivity is now stable nationwide.
