Petrol Price Cut by 94 Paisa, Diesel Price Increased by 54 Paisa in Pakistan
According to the notification, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised petroleum product prices under the pricing mechanism approved by the federal government.
The price of petrol has been reduced by just 94 paisa per litre, bringing the new price down from Rs325.92 to Rs324.98 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by 54 paisa per litre. The new diesel price has been fixed at Rs382.79 per litre, compared with the previous price of Rs382.25 per litre.
The new petrol and diesel prices will be effective from August 13, 2026.
Reacting to the decision, a citizen said that reducing the petrol price by just 94 paisa was not meaningful relief for the public, adding that ordinary people were already facing increasing financial difficulties.
