A blast took place near a petrol pump on Sariab road, where a vehicle of security forces was passing through, injuring six people late on Friday (January 24).
According to reports, the security forces' vehicle remained undamaged while glasses of nearby shops smashed into pieces as a result of the blast.
Security forces cordoned off the area and started investigation.
Police said that the bomb, planted in a motorbike, targeted the van of Frontier Corps (FC), however the vehicle remained undamaged.
Injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
It is pertinent to mention here that an operation has been launched against terrorists. The decision to kick off the operation was taken in a high-level meeting held here on Thursday night.
