The bodies of six men were found on Tuesday (January 7) near a shrine in Gulshan-i-Maymar area in Pakistan’s Karachi.
Police said the bodies of the victims were recovered from the shrine of Ayoub Shah in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Maymar area.
SSP Central Amir Farouqi said all the deceased were kidnapped before being slaughtered last night.
Upon further investigation, he said, it revealed that three of the dead are custodian of the shrine.
He said a note was recovered from the bodies through which a banned outfit has claimed responsibility of the killings and threatens that those usually use to visit shrines could meet the same fate.
