font color="#000000" size="2" face="arial">Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned, on November 23, the bomb blast, which killed at least seven people including a child and a journalist, and injured over thirty others in Pakistan's commercial hub Karachi.

font size="2" face="arial">In a statement, Prime Minister said "All institutions will have to work without fear and upholding professional competence for effectively addressing the menace of terror. We have no option but to wipe out the peril of extremism, sectarianism and terrorism. Karachi killings are cowardly act of terrorists"

font size="2" face="arial">Twin explosions ripped through shops and vehicles on the main road leading to Ancholi late on Friday(November 22).
font size="2" face="arial">
font size="2" face="arial">One of the bombs exploded outside a tea stall in Ancholi. The second  explosion took place a minute later outside a caterer’s shop located a short distance away.
font size="2" face="arial">
font size="2" face="arial">Around three to four kg of explosive material was used to carry out the blasts. The bombs were strapped to motorcycles and had been detonated remotely.

font size="2" face="arial">The injured were immediately transported to hospitals where some of the wounded were said to be in critical condition.

font size="2" face="arial">Shi’ite groups announced to observe a three-day mourning.

font size="2" face="arial">No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

font size="2" face="arial">The blasts occurred hours after the countrywide protests after sectarian clashes broke out during a Muharram procession in the garrison city Rawalpindi , near Islamabad, last week.
